What 0510/03 assesses
A recorded test of about 10–15 minutes in total: an unassessed introduction and warm-up, then Part 1 interview (2–3 minutes), Part 2 short talk (3–4 minutes, including 1 minute of preparation) and Part 3 discussion (3–4 minutes). Four criteria, each marked out of 10: grammar, vocabulary, development and pronunciation. It is reported separately as grades 1 (high) to 5 (low) and does not count towards the A*–G grade.

This is one of the objectives. The 0510 overview lists the full set.
Marks in the Speaking test reward how well your child communicates ideas aloud. The test looks for fluency and clarity and a range of vocabulary and sentence structures. It also looks for reasons and examples that develop a point, rather than a single sentence.
Interaction matters too: listening to the examiner, responding to the actual question, and keeping the conversation going. Good work sounds like real, thoughtful talk: an opinion, a reason, an example, perhaps a comparison. Our teachers build this through practice conversations on original topics.
We teach your child how to extend answers and think aloud confidently. We coach genuine speaking skills and never provide scripts to memorise.
For more detail, see 0510 speaking in the syllabus.
The trial lesson can work on Cambridge International 0510 Paper 3 directly, with timings, mark scheme and your child's own answers.
