Grade-threshold lookup

See the mark that earned each grade in past Cambridge exams. These are past results from the official tables, not predictions.

How to read your result

The result shows the grade your mark would have received in that one past series. Thresholds move from series to series, so the same mark can land differently each time. Treat the result as a rough guide to your level, not a promise.

Overall thresholds use the mark after weighting, so they only apply to a full set of papers. For a single past paper, choose the component view and enter your raw mark. Grade A* is never set at component level.

The next step

A number shows where you stand, but not why. Our teachers mark past papers and point out the skills that cost marks. Send us your result if you would like a second view.

Lookup FAQs

Where do these numbers come from?
Every number is copied from the official Cambridge grade threshold table for that series. Each series links to its PDF, so you can check it yourself. We do not round, adjust or estimate any value.
Can I use this to predict my grade next series?
No. Cambridge sets new thresholds for every series, after marking. A past threshold tells you how a mark was graded then, not how it will be graded later. Use it to understand a past-paper score, not to forecast a result.
What is an option code?
An option is the set of papers a candidate sat, such as Core or Extended routes, or coursework instead of a written paper. Your school knows which option you are entered for. Each option has its own overall thresholds.
Why does a grade show a dash?
Some options cannot award every grade. For example, a Core route in ESL is capped, so the top grades are not available. The official table shows a dash there, and so do we.
Is my mark stored?
No. The lookup runs in your browser and nothing is saved or uploaded.
