Methodology

This page explains how we prepare three kinds of content: exam board facts, model responses and location pages.
How board facts are sourced and verified
- We start from the exam board's own syllabus or specification for Cambridge International, Pearson Edexcel and OxfordAQA. The documents are listed on our sources page.
- We record paper codes, durations, marks, weightings and grading scales from that document. Each fact keeps a link to its source.
- If two documents disagree, we follow the board's current one. If we cannot confirm a detail, we leave it out.
- Pages that rely on a fact show a source note with a link.
- We recheck facts when a board publishes a new specification or a reader reports a problem.
We do not predict grade thresholds or what will appear in a future exam series.
How model responses are written
Our teachers write the model responses, using original passages and tasks. Each response has notes showing how it earns marks. They are teaching examples, not board mark schemes, and no exam board has marked or endorsed them.
How location pages are compiled
Our tuition is online, so every location page describes the same service for students in that part of Malaysia. We use general geography and public information about local schools. We have no centre or address in any town. A school name only shows where a student may study and does not mean we are linked to that school.
