Setia Alam is one of the Klang Valley's biggest masterplanned townships, a wide, orderly grid of gated neighbourhoods laid out along Persiaran Setia Alam, with Setia City Mall, the Convention Centre and the green of Central Park at its heart. It is young and family-focused, drawing professionals who want space, and its children spread across private, national and international schools in the northern Shah Alam belt. IGCSE English fits that aspirational community.
Our online one-to-one lessons suit the township's size. A student in Setia Alam can work through a Cambridge or Edexcel paper with an experienced teacher from home, without crossing the wide township or joining the highway just to reach a lesson.
Schools in the Setia Alam area
Setia Alam is a large masterplanned township on the Klang-Shah Alam border, so its IGCSE English students come from a young, family-focused community attending private, national and international schools across the northern Shah Alam area.

About Setia Alam
The local community: Masterplanned township of young middle-class and professional families. Language mix: Malay, Mandarin and English commonly used.
Nobody has to travel, so a student near Setia City Mall, Setia City Convention Centre, Central Park Setia Alam and Persiaran Setia Alam has the same lessons as one on the other side of town.
Online teaching for Setia Alam students
Setia Alam is large and a little removed, connected by its own dedicated highway link and the NKVE, both of which back up at peak. Reaching a centre elsewhere is a real journey. Online 1-to-1 removes it, so a student in Setia Alam stays home and the full hour is on English.
Lessons are from RM70/hr, and the paid one-hour trial is a genuine lesson with the teacher who continues, so the plan is set from the start. The township is broad enough that even its own amenities involve a drive, so a lesson taken from home spares Setia Alam parents a second round of chauffeuring once the daily school run is already done.
Lessons are online, one-to-one and timetabled around school. The first step is a paid one-hour trial.
