Wangsa Maju is a north-eastern district built around two neighbourhoods with a shared spine: the busy college-and-shoplot belt of Setapak and the planned township of Wangsa Maju itself. Jalan Genting Klang runs through the middle of it, linking Setapak Central and Wangsa Walk with the orderly residential sections and the LRT stations at Sri Rampai and beyond.
The TAR UMT campus gives the district a strong studying culture, and Danau Kota adds its markets and student housing. It is a comfortably middle-class, multilingual area where Malay, Mandarin and Cantonese are all heard on the same street.
Studying IGCSE English across Wangsa Maju
The district's children move mostly through national and private schools, with Fairview International School's Kuala Lumpur campus nearby giving Wangsa Maju a steady international-school presence, and a cluster of private schools and colleges around Setapak and Danau Kota adding to it. Many IGCSE English students here come from Mandarin-speaking homes and are working to sharpen their written English for the exam.
Alongside them are homeschoolers and private candidates preparing independently. Our team of experienced English teachers handles that full spread, teaching comprehension and essay skills at whatever level a student has reached and to the exact strand and board their course requires.
Lessons are online, one-to-one and timetabled around school. The first step is a paid one-hour trial.

How online lessons reach the whole district
Jalan Genting Klang is busy from dawn to dusk, so we spare families the trip: our lessons are online and one-to-one, taken from a desk at home. Whether a student is in a Wangsa Maju section house or a Setapak apartment near TAR UMT, the same experienced teacher takes every lesson.
We cover all three IGCSE English strands, First Language English, English as a Second Language and Literature in English, for Cambridge, Pearson Edexcel and OxfordAQA, from Year 9 through to Year 11. Fees begin from RM70/hr, and each student's first lesson is a paid one-hour class with their teacher.
