Kepong pairs two contrasting worlds inside one north-western district: the dense, long-settled Chinese-Malaysian heartland wrapped around the Metropolitan Park lake and Jalan Kepong, and the masterplanned family enclave of Desa ParkCity a short way off. The older Kepong is enterprising and food-obsessed, anchored by Aeon Metro Prima and Kepong Village Mall; Desa ParkCity is low-rise, green and self-contained, built around The Waterfront and Central Park. Between them the district holds families of very different means and outlooks. But both send children into IGCSE English classrooms in growing numbers.
Studying IGCSE English across Kepong
Kepong's schooling leans strongly towards Chinese-medium and national schools, and for many students IGCSE English is the route to firmer, exam-ready written English. Desa ParkCity changes the picture at its own edge, with The International School @ ParkCity inside the neighbourhood and several private schools nearby drawing English-speaking, internationally minded families.
The district's IGCSE English candidates therefore range from private-school pupils in ParkCity to homeschoolers and private candidates across the older township. Our team of experienced English teachers works with all of them, building comprehension and structured writing to whatever level a student starts from and to the strand and board their course sets.
Your child needs no travel. The teacher joins from a screen, and the trial is one paid hour.

How online lessons reach the whole district
Jalan Kepong and the MRR2 are among the busiest roads in the city, so an online one-to-one lesson spares families a long, congested outing for the sake of an hour of English. A student in a Kepong shoplot flat or a Desa ParkCity home works with the same experienced teacher from their own desk, week in and week out.
We teach all three strands, First Language English, English as a Second Language and Literature in English, for Cambridge, Pearson Edexcel and OxfordAQA, from Year 9 to Year 11. Fees are from RM70/hr, starting with a paid one-hour trial.
